SOCCER GEOGRAPHY is a program for elementary and middle schools in metropolitan Washington, D.C. Participating
teachers receive lesson plans, desk maps, a teacher’s guide, reference
pages, and extra credit activities – all designed around the 2012 D.C. United MLS team. Lesson plans address National Geography Standards and Common Core State Standards in grades four through eight.
Participation in the SOCCER GEOGRAPHY program is FREE to teachers thanks to sponsorship
from D.C. United and Volkswagen, the presenting partner of D.C. United. To sign up, visit our Register page and enter
